Grönland (grönländisch Kalaallit Nunaat [kaˈlaːɬːitˢʰ nuˈnaːtˢʰ], deutsch ‚Land der Kalaallit‘, dänisch Grønland [ˈɡʁɶnlanʔ], deutsch ‚Grünland‘) ist die größte Insel der Erde und wird geografisch zu Nordamerika und geologisch zu dessen arktischer Teilregion gezählt.
